What you type with the Keybo keyboard is processed on your device and never uploaded. Clipboard history, text shortcuts, your persona and themes stay on your device. No account is required. We don’t collect your name, phone number, contacts or location, and there are no ads or third‑party analytics SDKs.
Only when you tap Rewrite, Translate, Reply or AI sticker matching, the selected text (and, for Reply, the persona you wrote, the relationship you picked and the chat context) is sent through our server to a large‑language‑model provider (such as DeepSeek or another OpenAI‑compatible provider) for processing. Our server does not store the text after the result is returned. It only keeps a random device ID, request counts, token usage and IP address (for abuse prevention) to calculate your free quota. If you enter your own model API key, requests go directly to the provider you chose and never pass through our server.
“Read screenshot” reads your most recent screenshot only when you tap it. Text recognition runs entirely on your device; the image is never uploaded.
Payments are handled by Apple. We only receive Apple‑signed transaction records (product and expiry) to unlock Pro. We never see your payment details or Apple ID.
Keybo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Deleting the app removes all local data. To delete the usage record on our server, email us the device ID shown in Settings.
